Happy Uncomplicated Clothespin Fairy Dolls {& Fairytales}

We've been exploring fairytales this calendar month equally business office of the Poppins Book Nook. 

My immature lady loved reading the fairytale Cinderella by James Marshall. Her favorite grapheme was the fairy godmother because she was thus dainty in addition to pretty (and sparkly) inwards stark contrast to the hateful in addition to ugly stepsisters.

After nosotros read Cinderella, my immature lady became fascinated yesteryear fairies, thus nosotros decided to brand our ain elementary clothespin fairy dolls!

Here's what nosotros used to brand these clothespin fairy dolls...

• clothespins
• markers
• washable paint
• paint brushes
• salad spinner
• cardstock
• Elmers glue
• yarn
• scissors
• glitter (optional)

Here's how nosotros made our clothespin fairy dolls...

First nosotros decorated our clothespins amongst markers in addition to pigment in addition to and thus allow them dry. We rolled a few inwards sequins in addition to gum piece they were moisture too... simply to add together some extra sparkles.

Then nosotros cutting some wings out of cardstock in addition to position them inwards our salad spinner. My immature lady added some pigment in addition to glitter in addition to twirled the wings roughly 1 time again in addition to 1 time again until they were colorful in addition to sparkly.

Once the wings dried, nosotros glued them to the dorsum of the clothespin dolls. Then nosotros added facial expression upwards details amongst markers in addition to nosotros glued clumps of yarn onto their heads amongst glue.

We allow everything dry out for a few hours in addition to and thus nosotros were hit to play amongst our fairies in addition to wing them around!
