Update How to find Lost Android Phone Using Google Account

Many of us believes that a lost phone can be traced by GPS using its IMEI number. If we lost a phone and contact the Cyber Cell then only we know that tracing phone cannot be done easily. For this matter I am sharing a simple but effective way to find your lost phone's location.

At first the following criteria should be satisfied before proceeding...

1. You should have a Google account that linked to your Android phone
2. Lost Phone's Location (GPS settings) must be activated.
3. You should immediately use this method as soon as you lost it.

Follow these steps to find your phone.

1. Log on to Google Dash Board

2. Find 'Android'

3. Select 'Manage active devices'

4. Your Phone Model and Location will be Displayed (If GPS is ON on the phone)

5. From this window you can Ring, Lock and Erase data from your phone easily.

6. You can also check the activation date of your phone.
